A caravan fire kills a seasonal worker in the temporary camp below the affluent ski resort of Les Clairies in the French Alps. Émilie Karras (Constance Labbé), a young gendarme from Lyon is sent to lead the investigation. Forced to collaborate with the disillusioned local Major and former ski champion Loïc Servoz (Thibault de Montalembert, Call My Agent), Karras must navigate the complex social dynamics of the resort. The investigation quickly uncovers a tangled web of local corruption, real estate speculation, drug trafficking, and class conflict.
