Gil (Monia Chokri) and Jacques (Nils Schneider) first meet in Dubai, where Jacques overwhelms her with intense romantic attention. When Gil unexpectedly becomes pregnant, Jacques persuades her to marry him and start a family, even though they barely know each other.  As “their hasty marriage reveals that she is not as deeply rooted into the Jewish faith as he is,” Jacques attempts to anchor her via religious rules and reassures her with the phrase, “Think good and it will be good”.
