Synopsis
Israel has blocked international press access to the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. The Agence France-Presse Gaza staff reporters and photographers were among the few professional journalists to document the conflict. But the Western press refused to publish their work. Then they and their families became targets. Now forced into exile, those same AFP reporters bear witness to the task of documenting the deadliest war ever recorded for journalists, and the degree to which objective, factual journalism is currently under attack, threatening the very essence and future of war reporting.
