Synopsis

Rebounds plunges us into the very heart of the electro dance movement — the born-in-France “hip-hop of the 21st century” — from its street and tecktonik dance origins, to its rapid rise and fall, to the vertifight events that resuscitated it, to its breakthrough into artform on contemporary dance stages worldwide. French choreographer Brandon Masele, a.k.a. Miel, takes us on this joyous, incredibly dynamic journey, right through his founding of La Planke, his company of the most elite, rigorously-trained new generation of electro dancers, and their electrifying performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
