FREE SCREENINGS & PANELS

There are many ways to see French films and series or attend panels for free at the festival. Here is a list of complimentary screenings and events offered in 2025. No reservation is needed. No ticket is delivered. Admission is on a first come, first served basis.

 

SHORT FILMS COMPETITION (October 30 – November 3)
Start your day at the festival with an exciting Program. All shorts are presented together in two parts and run three times between Thursday and Monday in the morning (Truffaut Theater). Attend the two parts and vote for the Audience Short Film Award.

 

TELEVISION COMPETITION IN MELVILLE THEATER (October 29 – November 3)
Five Series, Three TV Movies and one documentary are shown for free on loop in the Melville Theater during the week. Schedule is made to help you to attend other screenings at the festival all day long. When you attend these screenings, you can win a trip for two to Paris and a River Cruise in Europe

 

11 AM SCREENINGS ON WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY IN TRUFFAUT THEATER (October 29 & 31). When you attend these screenings, you can win a trip for two to Paris and a River Cruise in Europe.

 

HAPPY HOUR TALKS (October 29 & 31 – November 1 & 3)
On Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Monday, attend our popular panel series at 3 pm presented in association with Variety and followed by a Wine & Cheese reception at 4 pm in the Festival Lounge (except on Saturday). After attending the panel and the cocktail you will have first access to theaters for the next screenings. You must be +21 and attend panels to access the receptions. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM (October 27 – November 3)
Celebrating 13 years of support of a new generation of Foreign film viewers, in partnership with ELMA, with the support of AATF, the educational program is a free program open to students and teachers.

 

EVERYDAY INVITATIONS
During the festival, limited invitations are offered for some Premiere screenings to our fans on social media. Screenings are announced on Facebook, Instagram , and Twitter one or two days beforehand. Join us and follow us!

 

REDUCED PRICE SCREENINGS
These screenings are not free but with discounted prices: All screenings at 1 pm, 4 pm & 5 pm on Wednesday, Friday and Monday; all screenings after 9 pm from Friday to Monday, all screenings at 11 am on Saturday and Sunday, screenings in Truffaut theatre on Sunday after 5 pm.
