Another behind-the-scenes showbiz romp from the creative team behind the beloved Emmy Award-winning comedy series Call My Agent! Gaspard Berthille is manager of Le Tout-Paris, a time-honored Parisian cabaret that has, alas, seen better days. Unlike his late father, the night club’s legendary impresario, Gaspard has failed miserably at perpetuating the cabaret’s success. Is it due to the dated stage show? Careless management? More innovative competition? Who knows? But their audience is at 45% capacity and the club is on the verge of going under. So Gaspard decides to sell the cherished family business to a big supermarket chain. Now he just has to break the news to his troupe… However, fate may have something entirely unexpected in the cards for Gaspard and his bevy of beautiful showgirls!

Marc Fitoussi studied screenwriting at the Conservatoire Européen d’Ecriture Audiovisuel and went on to write and direct four short films, including Illustre inconnue (2004) and Bonbon au poivre (2005), which was nominated for a César Award. His first feature, La Vie d’artiste (COLCOA 2008) won the Prix Michel d’Ornano for the Best French Narrative Film at the Deauville Film Festival. That was followed by Copacabana (COLCOA 2011 – Critics Special Prize), Pauline détective (2012), Paris Folies (2014), Mum is Wrong (2016), the “Le Troll” segment of Selfie (2019), Appearances (2020) and Two Tickets to Greece (2022). Clearly a “woman’s director,” like so many of his American golden-age-of-screwball role models, Fitoussi wrote and directed six of the most delightful, and often hilarious, episodes of seasons 3 and 4 of Call My Agent! – those starring Isabelle Huppert, Monica Bellucci, Sandrine Kiberlain, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Sigourney Weaver. Ça, c’est Paris! premiered at the Festival de la Fiction in La Rochelle in September and is presented at TAFFF prior to its broadcast release in France.
