Three brothers from a tough suburb on the outskirts of Paris. Soulaymaan, a brilliant law student training to become a lawyer, is excelling in his studies. His path crosses with Lisa’s during the final of a prestigious public speaking competition, where they clash over the State’s responsibility in the current crisis facing the French suburbs. Demba, the eldest, lives by the rules of the streets — caught in the rhythms of trafficking and survival. Their youngest brother, Noumouké, 15, is still searching for his place in the world. Torn between two models of masculinity, he must decide which of his brothers he wants to become.
