Synopsis
Private Gabriel Ferraud barely escapes death on a barbarous WWI battlefield in 1915. Officially pronounced “dead,” he is, in fact, chosen to participate in a top-secret program. Inoculated with an experimental drug, he awakens not only healed, but seething with superhuman powers. However, survival comes at a price. If Gabriel wants to see his family again, he must join the Sentinels, a secret elite army charged with the perilous mission of bringing the war to an abrupt end. Adapted from the comic book collection of the same name, the Canal+ miniseries boasts lavish production values, futuristic superheroes, and more than a few brutal confrontations, intercut with a glimpse into the Paris underworld and a hefty dose of wartime decadence.
